Renovated Homes for Sale

The Old Brooklyn Community Development Corporation began a program in 2009 to purchase, rehab and sell a limited number of houses within the service area each year. Most of these homes are completely renovated inside and out, offering a tremendous value for both prospective homeowners and the community

The CDC completed the first of these projects in early 2010. After completion of the renovation the house sold in just three short months  for $59,000. Details of the renovation and before and after photos can be viewed here [pdf].

The most recent home sold by the CDC is located on W. 50^th Street in Old Brooklyn. It is a cozy and cute 3 bedroom two bath home with a 2 car garage. It is another example of a fully renovated home inside and out offered at an affordable price.

In addition to OBCDC rehabbing homes, we will also be turning over homes through a specialized development partnership agreement to qualified contractors who will commit to renovating and reselling the homes provided. The basic guidelines for that agreement can be reviewed here [pdf]
