Old Brooklyn Connected Wi-Fi

Old Brooklyn Connected Wi-Fi is a groundbreaking technology infrastructure project that provides free, fast internet service for every home, business, and organization in Ward 13 of the City of Cleveland, Ohio.

Located in the Old Brooklyn neighborhood, Old Brooklyn Connected Wi-Fi will cover over 4 square miles and is considered a pilot project by the City of Cleveland serving as a model for possible future implementation throughout the City of Cleveland.

The project has been spearheaded by Ward 13 councilman Kevin Kelley, who is determined to make his ward the most connected in the United States.

For additional information about ongoing differences in broadband adoption, please see this 2013 study of internet access and use in Cuyahoga County.
