Senior Citizen’s Resource Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing the senior citizens of Old Brooklyn, Ohio, with the services and support they need to continue independent living and better their quality of life.
MetroHealth’s The Senior Health & Wellness Center there are more than 20 senior health specialists – all of whom have completed a specific course of study focused on the care of elders.

Food/Clothing
All Faith’s Pantry delivers free groceries to seniors and low mobility people in our service area.
United Hearts Life Mission Center – Gives food and clothing to low income, as well as help with baby items like formula, diapers, car seats, cribs, high chairs, etc. when available. e-mail:
Brookside Center Westside Ecumenical Center provides individuals and families with a three-day supply of emergency food once per month, as needed. They provide information, referrals and support services in both English and Spanish, including food stamp application processing.
City of Cleveland, Department of Aging
Senior Housing Assistance Program SHAP provides grants to Cleveland residents age 60+ or disabled adults who meet income eligibility guidelines and own single or two family homes in need of critical, health, safety and maintenance repairs. Applicants must live in the property in question and be abl44122e to show clear title.
