Bridging the Distance 5K this Sunday
OBCDC will be hosting its fourth annual Bridging the Distance 5K-1Mile walk/run this Sunday, August 4th, at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Anyone can register for the race at 7:30 a.m. on the day of the event; registration tables will be by the ticket plaza at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.
Race day entry fees are $20 for adults and $14 for children 14 years of age and younger. The entry fee includes admission to the Zoo and awards to the top finishers.
The awards are for the top three male and female winners in each age group. The adult age groups are: ages 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. The children’s age groups are: ages 10 and under, 11-12 and 13-14.
There is a one-mile walking course through the Zoo for those who want to be part of the event, but do not want to run. The event attracts hundreds of runners and walkers from across the region every year. We hope you will join us.
